FARMINGTON HILLS, MI (March 14, 2007) - The people have spoken and the 2007 New
Product Innovation Award goes to SafeTec Platforms (Bardstown, KY).

Attendees voted during The Work Truck Show® 2007 March 7-9 at the Indiana Convention
Center & RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN. The Work Truck Show was held in conjunction
with the 43rd Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention March
6-9.

Introduced in 2004, the New Product Innovation Award recognizes the best new product
or product innovation among exhibiting companies participating in the New Product
Spotlight program. The Spotlight is a multi-media program that allows exhibitors to
highlight their new products to Work Truck Show attendees. Each attendee was invited
to cast a vote, with the exhibitor receiving the highest number of votes winning the
award.

SafeTec Platforms won for its LineBacker Platforms that are lightweight, adjustable
and easy to set up. The work platforms can be combined to form low-level scaffolding
that provides strength, stability and safety for users.

"We're excited about the award and people are really getting excited about this
product. You can use it to reach everywhere from the tops of trailers and the inside
of engines to multiple uses in the stock room," said Chris Seaman, vice president of
SafeTec Platforms. "The response from attendees was tremendous. We'll definitely be
exhibiting in the show next year!"

More than 20 years ago, Seaman became involved in transportation with trailer
heaters for the trucking industry. After a number of years selling the heater, he
perfected the design of the SafeTec Platform in 2002. The platforms are sold
throughout the U.S. in schools, apartments, hotels, homes and industries such as
farming, landscaping, automotive and construction. Visit their Web site at
